And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had. And they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” And he set him over all the land of Mitsrayim.


And the sovereign took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, son of Hammeḏ


And the sovereign’s scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was written according to all that Haman commanded – to the viceroys of the sovereign, and to the governors who were over each province, and to the officials of all people, to every province according to its writing, and to every people in their language. It was written in the name of Sovereign Aḥ


And he wrote in the name of Sovereign Aḥ


And the sovereign took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordeḵ


“Now you write on behalf of the Yehuḏ


So pride is their necklace, The garment of violence covers them.


For they are a fair wreath on your head, And chains about your neck.


She shall make tapestry for herself; She is dressed in fine linen and purple.


She shall make fine linen and sell them, And shall give girdles for the merchants.


Your cheeks are pretty with ornaments, Your neck with strings of beads.


You have put heart into me, My sister, my bride; You have put heart into me With one glance of your eyes, With one bead of your necklace.


the mirrors, and the fine linen, and the turbans, and the large veils.


So he changed his prison garments, and he ate bread continually before the sovereign all the days of his life.


“Of fine embroidered linen from Mitsrayim was your sail to serve you as banner. Of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was your covering.


“And I myself have heard of you, that you are able to give interpretations and to solve difficult problems. Now if you are able to read the writing and make known its interpretation to me, you are to be robed in purple and have a chain of gold around your neck, and shall be the third ruler in the reign.”


The sovereign called loudly to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the diviners. The sovereign spoke and said to the wise ones of Baḇ


“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.


And Yehonathan took off the robe that was on him and gave it to Dawiḏ
