23 “And now, swear to me by Elohim, not to be untrue to me, to my offspring, or to my descendants. Do to me according to the kindness that I have done to you and to the land in which you have dwelt.”

“And now, come, let us make a covenant, you and I, and it shall be a witness between you and me.”


And his master saw that יהוה  was with him and that יהוה  made all he did to prosper in his hand.


And he said, “Swear to me.” And he swore to him, and Yisra’ĕ


and shall swear, ‘As יהוה  lives,’ in truth, in right-ruling, and in righteousness – then nations shall bless themselves in Him, and they shall boast in Him!”


And I call Elohim as witness against my being, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.


“Fear יהוה  your Elohim and serve Him, and swear by His Name.


For men do indeed swear by the one greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.


“And now, please swear to me by יהוה, since I have shown you kindness, that you also show kindness to my father’s house, and shall give me a true token,


so let יהוה  do so and much more to Yehonathan. And if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I shall disclose it to you and send you away, and you shall go in peace. And יהוה  be with you as He has been with my father.


And Yehonathan again made Dawiḏ


And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ
