But when he became strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he trespassed against יהוה  his Elohim by entering the Hĕ

who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My Name for Baʽ


and he shall capture the army, his heart being exalted. And he shall cause tens of thousands to fall, but not prevail.


“When they were fed they were satisfied. They were satisfied and their heart was exalted, therefore they forgot Me.


“And it shall be to you for a tzitzit 2, and you shall see it, and shall remember all the commands of יהוה  and shall do them, and not search after your own heart and your own eyes after which you went whoring,


“When your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own being, entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other mighty ones’– which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers,


so that his heart is not lifted up above his brothers, and so as not to turn aside from the command, right or left, so that he prolongs his days in his reign, he and his children, in the midst of Yisra’ĕ


“Only, guard yourself, and guard your life diligently, lest you forget the Words your eyes have seen, and lest they turn aside from your heart all the days of your life. And you shall make them known to your children and your grandchildren.


‘I am יהוה  your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.


and houses filled with all kinds of goods, which you did not fill, and wells dug which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you shall eat and be satisfied –


“Be on guard, lest you forget יהוה  your Elohim by not guarding His commands, and His right-rulings, and His laws which I command you today,


and your herds and your flocks increase, and your silver and your gold are increased, and all that you have is increased,


Thus the children of Yisra’ĕ
