“The land of Mitsrayim is before you. Settle your father and brothers in the best of the land, let them dwell in the land of Goshen. And if you know of capable men among them, then make them chief herdsmen over my livestock.”


And he was an adversary of Yisra’ĕ


‘And now, do not give your daughters as wives for their sons, nor take their daughters to your sons. And do not seek their peace or wealth ever, so that you are strong, and shall eat the good of the land, and leave it as an inheritance to your children forever.’


“Do not tread down a sojourner or oppress him, for you were sojourners in the land of Mitsrayim.


“And do not oppress a sojourner, as you yourselves know the heart of a sojourner, because you were sojourners in the land of Mitsrayim.


‘Let the stranger who dwells among you be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself. For you were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim. I am יהוה  your Elohim.


“I have loved you,” said יהוה. “But you asked, ‘In what way have You loved us?’ “Was not Ě

“And you shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim.


“The children of the third generation born to them do enter the assembly of יהוה.
