And he planted a tamarisk tree in Be’ĕ


And from there he went up to Be’ĕ


So the sovereign took counsel and made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Yerushalayim. See, your mighty ones, O Yisra’ĕ


And he brought all the priests from the cities of Yehuḏ


those hating you put on shame, and the tent of the wrong is no more.”


יהוה  brings the counsel of the nations to naught; He thwarts the plans of the peoples.


For the ruthless one is brought to naught, the scorner is consumed, and all who watch for evil shall be cut off,


“Take counsel, and it comes to naught; speak a word, and it does not stand, for Ě


And the high places of Awen, the sin of Yisra’ĕ


“Though you are a whore, Yisra’ĕ


“All their evil is in Gilgal, for there I have hated them. Because of the evil of their deeds I drive them from My house, no more do I love them. All their rulers are rebels.


“And I shall break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Awen, and the one who holds the sceptre from Bĕ


“For in the day I visit Yisra’ĕ


Then Amatsyah the priest of Bĕ


but do not prophesy any more at Bĕ


“Therefore thus said יהוה, ‘Your wife shall become a whore in the city, and your sons and daughters fall by the sword, and your land be divided by a measuring line, and you die in a defiled land, and Yisra’ĕ


“And the high places of Yitsḥ


those swearing by the guilt of Shomeron, who say, ‘As your mighty one lives, O Dan!’ and, ‘As the way of Be’ĕ


And Elohim has chosen the low-born of the world and the despised, and the ones that are not, that He might bring to naught the ones that are,


Yet we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, and not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age that are being brought to naught.


“You bring forth sons and daughters, but they are not with you, for they go into captivity.


And יהוה  said to Yehoshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Mitsrayim from you.” So the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.


‘For in one hour such great riches was laid waste.’ And every shipmaster, and every passenger, and sailors, and as many as work the sea for their living, stood at a distance,


and each year he made the rounds of Bĕ


And the name of his first-born was Yo’ĕ
