“And as I could not see because of the esteem of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.


And immediately there fell from his eyes, as it were scales, and he received his sight. And rising up, he was immersed.


And he was three days without sight, and did not eat nor drink.


In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the sovereign, was guarding the city of the Damascenes, wishing to seize me,


neither did I go up to Yerushalayim, to those who were emissaries before me. But I went to Araḇ
