This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnaḇ


Then Sha’ul, filled with the Set-apart Spirit, looked intently at him,


And when Sha’ul had laid hands on them, the Set-apart Spirit came upon them, and they were speaking in tongues and prophesying.


Now this one had four maiden daughters who prophesied.


But Sha’ul, still breathing threats and murder against the taught ones of the Master, having come to the high priest,


Timothy, my fellow worker, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my relatives, greet you.


Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, brings shame to his Head.


And if I have prophecy, and know all secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all belief, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am none at all.


Love never fails. And whether there be prophecies, they shall be inactive; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be inactive.


And let two or three prophets speak, and let the others discern.


And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.


And He Himself gave some as emissaries, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds and teachers


All the set-apart ones greet you, but most of all those of Caesar’s household.
