And it was evil in the eyes of Elohim, concerning this matter, and He smote Yisra’ĕ


“For the eyes of יהוה  diligently search throughout all the earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect to Him. You have acted foolishly in this, so from now on you shall have battles.”


And why do You not pardon my transgression, and take away my crookedness? For now I lie down in the dust, and You shall seek me, but I am not.”


I acknowledged my sin to You, And my crookedness I did not hide. I have said, “I confess my transgressions to יהוה,” And You forgave the crookedness of my sin. Selah.


Pharaoh then called for Mosheh and Aharon in haste, and said, “I have sinned against יהוה  your Elohim and against you.


He who hides his transgressions does not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them finds compassion.


Take words with you, and return to יהוה. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips.


“Yet even now,” declares יהוה, “turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”


And Aharon said to Mosheh, “Oh, my master! Please do not hold against us the sin in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.


thefts, greedy desires, wickednesses, deceit, indecency, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.


And when they heard it, being reproved by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the older ones until the last. And יהושע  was left alone, and the woman standing in the middle.


“Do you do this to יהוה, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you, Who created you and established you?


For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, led astray, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in evil and envy, being hated and hating one another.


If we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and righteous to forgive us the sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


And it came to be afterward that the heart of Dawiḏ


So he said to his men, “Far be it from me, by יהוה, that I should do this matter to my master, anointed of יהוה, to stretch out my hand against him, for he is the anointed of יהוה.”


And Sha’ul said, “I have sinned. Come back, my son Dawiḏ
