The look on their faces witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Seḏ


“Were they ashamed when they had done abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed, nor did they know how to blush. So they shall fall among those who fall. They shall stumble in the time of their visitation,” said יהוה.


‘The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you do not uncover.


‘And a man who takes his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness: it is wickedness, and they shall be cut off before the eyes of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness, he bears his crookedness.


Both hands are on the evil, to do it well. The prince asks for gifts, the judge seeks a bribe, and the great man speaks the desire of his being. And they weave it together.


“Do not fear, little flock, because your Father did delight to give you the reign.
