He then sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he went up to him, and see, he was sitting on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him, “Man of Elohim, the sovereign has said, ‘Come down!’ ”


And Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in prison, for he was enraged at him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at that time.


And it came to be, as he talked with him, that the sovereign said to him, “Have we appointed you counsellor to the sovereign? Stop! Why should they smite you?” Then the prophet stopped and said, “I know that Elohim has counselled to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”


He sings to men and says, ‘I have sinned, and I have perverted what was right, and it did not profit me.’


As far as east is from west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.


For You do not desire slaughtering, or I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.


Against You, You alone, have I sinned, And done evil in Your eyes; That You might be proven right in Your words; Be clear when You judge.


See, You have desired truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You make me know wisdom.


Pharaoh then sent and called for Mosheh and for Aharon, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. יהוה  is righteous, and my people and I are wrong.

‘And a man who commits adultery with the wife of another man, who commits adultery with the wife of his neighbour: the adulterer and the adulteress shall certainly be put to death.


‘And he who smites the life from any man shall certainly be put to death.


And He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your guilt from you, and shall put costly robes on you.”


“And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against the heaven, and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’


“But the tax collector standing at a distance would not even raise his eyes to the heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘Elohim, show favour unto me, a sinner!’


And having heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Kĕ


For if so, He would have had to suffer often, since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the offering of Himself.


But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע  Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.


and from יהושע  Messiah, the trustworthy witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the sovereigns of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,


And Sha’ul said to Shemu’ĕ


Then he said, “I have sinned. But esteem me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Yisra’ĕ
