However, יהוה  did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath, with which His wrath burned against Yehuḏ


Only at the command of יהוה  this came upon Yehuḏ


And he also rebelled against Sovereign Neḇ


Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Set-apart Spirit from me.


But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land had listened to the words of יהוה  which He spoke by the prophet Yirmeyahu.


For through the displeasure of יהוה  this came to be against Yerushalayim and Yehuḏ


“Please say to the rebellious house, ‘Do you not know what these mean?’ Say, ‘See, the sovereign of Baḇ


‘And fire went out from a rod of her branches. It devoured her fruit, so that she has no strong rod, a sceptre to rule.’ ” This is a lament, and it shall be a lament.


Where is the wise? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Has not Elohim made foolish the wisdom of this world?


therefore the displeasure of יהוה  burned against this land, to bring on it every curse that is written in this book.


“For יהוה  your Elohim is a consuming fire, a jealous Ě
