And יהוה  was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.


And יהוה  said, “I am going to wipe off man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping creature and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.”


And the messenger stretched out His hand over Yerushalayim to destroy it, and יהוה  relented concerning the evil, and said to the messenger who was destroying the people, “It is enough, now stop Your hand.” And the messenger of יהוה  was by the threshing-floor of Arawnah the Yeḇ


Therefore יהוה  was enraged with Shelomoh, because his heart had turned away from יהוה  Elohim of Yisra’ĕ


Thus Sha’ul died for his trespass which he had trespassed against יהוה, because he did not guard the Word of יהוה, and also for asking a medium for to make inquiry,


And Elohim sent a messenger to Yerushalayim to destroy it. And as he was destroying, יהוה  saw, and relented about the evil, and said to the messenger who was destroying, “Enough! Now stop your hand.” And the messenger of יהוה  was standing by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Yeḇ


because they turned from following Him, and they regarded not all His ways,


In return for my love they accuse me, While I am in prayer.


יהוה  has sworn and does not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Malkitseḏ


Streams of water have run down from my eyes, Because they did not guard Your Torah.


But those who turn aside to their crooked ways, יהוה  shall lead them away With the workers of wickedness. Peace be upon Yisra’ĕ


The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise, to do good.


And again and again they tried Ě


But they turned back And acted treacherously like their fathers; They twisted like a treacherous bow.


But Mosheh pleaded with יהוה  his Elohim, and said, “יהוה, why does Your wrath burn against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Mitsrayim with great power and with a strong hand?


And יהוה  relented from the evil which He said He would do to His people.


“They have turned back to the crookednesses of their forefathers who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other mighty ones to serve them. The house of Yisra’ĕ


And if you do not listen, my being shall weep in secret for your pride, and my eyes bitterly weep and run down with tears, because the flock of יהוה  shall be taken captive.


‘But you turned back and profaned My Name, and each one of you took back his male and female slaves, whom he had set free, at their pleasure, and brought them into subjection, to be your male and female slaves.’


Oh, that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, and I would weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!


“And let them hasten and take up a wailing for us, and let our eyes run with tears and our eyelids gush with water.


“But when a righteous one turns away from his righteousness and does unrighteousness, according to all the abominations that the wrong one has done, shall he live? All his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered. For his trespass which he has committed, and for his sin which he has committed, for them he shall die.


יהוה  relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” said יהוה.


And Elohim saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. And Elohim relented from the evil which He had said He would do to them, and He did not do it.


And he prayed to יהוה, and he said, “Please, יהוה, was this not what I said while I was in my own land? This is why I went ahead and fled to Tarshish. For I know that You are an Ě


and those who turn away from following יהוה, and who have not sought יהוה  or inquired of Him.”


“But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.


“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you,


And in those days it came to be that He went out to the mountain to pray, and was spending the night in prayer to Elohim.


“But the righteous shall live by belief, but if anyone draws back, my being has no pleasure in him.”


“Thus says all the congregation of יהוה, ‘What is this trespass you have committed against the Elohim of Yisra’ĕ


“Also, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against יהוה  in ceasing to pray for you, but I shall teach you the good and straight way.


And the word of יהוה  came to Shemu’ĕ


‘Now go, and you shall smite Amalĕ


But Sha’ul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, and the cattle, and the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not put them under the ban. But all goods despised and worthless, that they put under the ban.


And יהוה  said to Shemu’ĕ


But the word was evil in the eyes of Shemu’ĕ
