But the word of Elohim came to Shemayah the man of Elohim, saying,


And the prophet who had brought him back from the way heard it, and said, “It is the man of Elohim who rebelled against the mouth of יהוה, and יהוה  gave him to the lion, and it tore him apart and killed him, according to the word of יהוה  which He spoke to him.”


“For the word which he cried out, by the word of יהוה, against the altar in Bĕ


And the altar was split apart, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of Elohim had given by the word of יהוה.


“For so He commanded me by the word of יהוה, saying, ‘Do not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way you came.’ ”


And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbour by the word of יהוה, “Smite me, please.” But the man refused to smite him.


And also the altar that was at Bĕ


And he said, “What tombstone is this that I see?” And the men of the city said to him, “It is the tomb of the man of Elohim who came from Yehuḏ


But when he became strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he trespassed against יהוה  his Elohim by entering the Hĕ


And they stood up against Sovereign Uzziyahu, and said to him, “It is not for you, Uzziyahu, to burn incense to יהוה, but for the priests, the sons of Aharon, who are set-apart to burn incense. Get out of the set-apart place, for you have trespassed, and there is no esteem to you from יהוה  Elohim.”


And the rest of the acts of Shelomoh, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Aḥ


“From the thirteenth year of Yoshiyahu son of Amon, sovereign of Yehuḏ


“And the Chaldeans who fight against this city shall come and set fire to this city and burn it, with the houses on whose roofs they burned incense to Baʽ


but do not prophesy any more at Bĕ


“And now, hear the word of יהוה. You are saying, ‘Do not prophesy against Yisra’ĕ


“For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My Name is great among nations. And in every place incense is presented to My Name, and a clean offering. For My Name is great among nations,” said יהוה  of hosts.


a remembrance to the children of Yisra’ĕ


For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we, the living who are left over at the coming of the Master shall in no way go before those who are asleep.


And another messenger came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the set-apart ones upon the golden altar which was before the throne.


And a man of Elohim came to Ě


And he said to him, “See, there is in this city a man of Elohim, and the man is esteemed. All that he says comes true, without fail. Now, let us go there. It could be that he shows us the way to go.”
