Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.


Thou hast abhorred the covenant of thy servant: Thou hast profaned his crown even to the ground.


And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: And establish thou the work of our hands upon us; Yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.


Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake; do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.


Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword.


And after the threescore and two weeks shall the anointed one be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and his end shall be with a flood, and even unto the end shall be war; desolations are determined.


And the LORD said, Call his name Lo-ammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.


So I fed the flock of slaughter, verily the poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.


After the number of the days in which ye spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my alienation.


Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished.


Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
