Then did I beat them small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the streets, and did spread them abroad.


Then the earth shook and trembled, the foundations of heaven moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.


And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.


Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.


Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: But we will make mention of the name of the LORD our God.


There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.


Through thee will we push down our adversaries: Through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.


Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.

and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.


In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.


In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.


Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.


For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty man.


teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.


And the tempter came and said unto him, If thou art the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.

Then answered one of the young men, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Beth-lehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty man of valour, and a man of war, and prudent in speech, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.
