And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread forth toward heaven.


And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.


And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves and worshipped.


Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.


(for Solomon had made a brasen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:)


And at the evening oblation I arose up from my humiliation, even with my garment and my mantle rent; and I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God;


But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night;


Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and we are his; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.


Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.


For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.


Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.


O come, let us sing unto the LORD: Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.


thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me;


Remember also thy Creator in the days of thy youth, or ever the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;


In that day shall a man look unto his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.


Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.


For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is thy redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.


But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.


And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem;) and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.


Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.


For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.


And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he afterward hungered.


and he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.


And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.


And he was parted from them about a stone's cast; and he kneeled down and prayed,


All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.


And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.


And when it came to pass that we had accomplished the days, we departed and went on our journey; and they all, with wives and children, brought us on our way, till we were out of the city: and kneeling down on the beach, we prayed,


And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.


for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.


For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,


that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth,


Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.


And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.


And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
