The tents of robbers prosper, And they that provoke God are secure; Into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.


As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together: The latter end of the wicked shall be cut off.


Behold, these are the wicked; And, being alway at ease, they increase in riches


So brutish was I, and ignorant; I was as a beast before thee.


They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.


For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, And the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.


Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as a field of corn before it be grown up.


And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are built up; yea, they tempt God, and are delivered.


For, behold, the day cometh, it burneth as a furnace; and all the proud, and all that work wickedness, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.


For, All flesh is as grass, And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:
