When his lamp shined upon my head, And by his light I walked through darkness;


Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.


Many there be that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.


For they gat not the land in possession by their own sword, Neither did their own arm save them: But thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, Because thou hadst a favour unto them.


In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; In the evening it is cut down, and withereth.


Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and judgement are the foundation of his throne.


In the light of the king's countenance is life; And his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.


O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.


Then shalt thou send abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of atonement shall ye send abroad the trumpet throughout all your land.


Behold, upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! Keep thy feasts, O Judah, perform thy vows: for the wicked one shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.


Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.


He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, Neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a king is among them.


The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.


Thou madest known unto me the ways of life; Thou shalt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.


and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!


But I say, Did they not hear? Yea, verily, Their sound went out into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.


And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.
