This shall be written for the generation to come: And a people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.


Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.


One generation shall laud thy works to another, And shall declare thy mighty acts.


Let thy work appear unto thy servants, And thy glory upon their children.


They shall come and shall declare his righteousness Unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done it.


Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; Until I have declared thy strength unto the next generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.


Mark ye welt her bulwarks, Consider her palaces; That ye may tell it to the generation following.


and that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed.
