Psalm 71:1

He trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among them that were before him.


And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated of them; because they put their trust in him.


They that trust in the LORD Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.


Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the LORD his God:


They cried unto thee, and were delivered: They trusted in thee, and were not ashamed.


But Israel shall be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.


Let them be ashamed that persecute me, but let not me be ashamed; let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.


even as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.


Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.
