Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even unto heaven.


But I have built thee an house of habitation, and a place for thee to dwell in for ever.


Thon hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to take it into thy hand: The helpless committeth himself unto thee; Thou hast been the helper of the fatherless.


To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, That man which is of the earth may be terrible no more.


Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.


The LORD preserveth the strangers; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.


Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.


From the place of his habitation he looketh forth Upon all the inhabitants of the earth;


He shall judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with judgement.


He shall judge the poor of the people, He shall save the children of the needy, And shall break in pieces the oppressor.


And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.


Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.


And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.


For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.


Thus saith the LORD; The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?


Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.


They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness: they plead not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they should prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge,


Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.


Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;


He doth execute the judgement of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.


Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the ground which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
