He taketh away the heart of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.


In the pride of the wicked the poor is hotly pursued; Let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.


His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression: Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.


And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom Their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.


The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: But they that deal treacherously shall be taken in their own mischief.


In the transgression of the lips is a snare to the evil man: But the righteous shall come out of trouble.
