The LORD saith unto my lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.


Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, And subdueth peoples under me.


Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.


I should soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries.


For the LORD is a great God, And a great King above all gods.


The LORD is great in Zion; And he is high above all the peoples.


Who would not fear thee, O King of the nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is none like unto thee.


And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall the LORD be one, and his name one.


But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a blemished thing: for I am a great king, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is terrible among the Gentiles.


For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.


Happy art thou, O Israel: Who is like unto thee, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of thy help, And that is the sword of thy excellency! And thine enemies shall submit themselves unto thee; And thou shalt tread upon their high places.


who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.


And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
