While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and : I only am escaped alone to tell thee.


Bless the LORD O my soul, O LORD my God, thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honour and majesty.


To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, And the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.


Of the glorious majesty of thine honour, And of thy wondrous works, will I meditate.


His glory is great in thy salvation: Honour and majesty dost thou lay upon him.


For the king trusteth in the LORD, And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.


Honour and majesty are before him: Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.


As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, So is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.


His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as banks of sweet herbs: His lips are as lilies, dropping liquid myrrh.


and he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me; and he hath made me a polished shaft, in his quiver hath he kept me close:


The word which he sent unto the children of Israel, preaching good tidings of peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all)--


For to this end Christ died, and lived again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.


who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;


For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.


Now in the things which we are saying the chief point is this: We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,


to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.


And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.


And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God.

And Ehud made him a sword which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he girded it under his raiment upon his right thigh.
