And David and all Israel played before God with all their might: even with songs, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.


And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.


And the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in singing unto the LORD, even all that were skilful, was two hundred fourscore and eight.


And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward: and other of the Levites, all that could skill of instruments of music.


I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: Upon a psaltery of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.


Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, And his praise in the assembly of the saints.


And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in the LORD.


Blessed is the man that maketh the LORD his trust, And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.


O sing unto the LORD a new song: Sing unto the LORD, all the earth.


Sing unto the LORD a new song; For he hath done marvelous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him.


Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth; ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
