The works of his hands are truth and judgement; All his precepts are sure.


Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.

The opening of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.


I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches.


Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: Yet thy commandments are my delight.


I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. ג GIMEL


Let my lips utter praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes.


Thy testimonies also are my delight And my counsellors. ד DALETH


Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness. ו VAU


Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.


Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes; That I be not ashamed. כ CAPH


Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.


The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, Purified seven times.


Consider and answer me, O LORD my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;


I delight to do thy will, O my God; Yea, thy law is within my heart.


Thy testimonies are very sure: Holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for evermore.


when they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between a man and his neighbour, and I make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.


For the LORD giveth wisdom; Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding:


Every word of God is tried: He is a shield unto them that trust in him.


For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:


Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou wast wroth, and we sinned: in them have we been of long time, and shall we be saved?


Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me a joy and the rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.


And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgements, and do them.


because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for through the law cometh the knowledge of sin.


For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:


What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Howbeit, I had not known sin, except through the law: for I had not known coveting, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet:


For I through the law died unto the law, that I might live unto God.


Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could make alive, verily righteousness would have been of the law.


and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.


and thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
