Yea, he would have led thee away out of distress Into a broad place, where there is no straitness; And that which is set on thy table should be full of fatness.


Out of my distress I called upon the LORD: The LORD answered me and set me in a large place.


Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

O LORD my God, if I have done this; If there be iniquity in my hands;


The LORD ministereth judgement to the peoples: Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and to mine integrity that is in me.


The wicked earneth deceitful wages: But he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.


But I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and vanity: yet surely my judgement is with the LORD, and my recompence with my God.


Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.


that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret shall recompense thee.


Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.


For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;


And he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rendered unto me good, whereas I have rendered unto thee evil.
