God thundereth marvelously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend


Canst thou send forth lightnings, that they may go, And say unto thee, Here we are?


For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, The poison whereof my spirit drinketh up: The terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.


Cast forth lightning, and scatter them; Send out thine arrows, and discomfit them.


For thou shalt make them turn their back, Thou shalt make ready with thy bowstrings against the face of them.


The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even the LORD upon many waters.


The voice of the LORD cleaveth the flames of fire.


The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound: Thine arrows also went abroad.


The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lightened the world: The earth trembled and shook.


And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, and tempest, and hailstones.


And the LORD uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?


The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; At the light of thine arrows as they went, At the shining of thy glittering spear.


God bringeth him forth out of Egypt; He hath as it were the strength of the wild-ox: He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, And shall break their bones in pieces, And smite them through with his arrows.


I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them:

And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and he slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.


They that strive with the LORD shall be broken to pieces; against them shall he thunder in heaven: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
