It is high as heaven; what canst thou do? Deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know?


If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.


But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol: For he shall receive me. Selah


The wicked shall return to Sheol, Even all the nations that forget God.


Sheol and Abaddon are before the LORD: How much more then the hearts of the children of men!


Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; And the eyes of man are never satisfied.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:


For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And burneth unto the lowest pit, And devoureth the earth with her increase, And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains.


and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.


And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
