And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.


And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.


Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.


Though I write for him my law in ten thousand precepts, they are counted as a strange thing.


Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.


And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.


They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.


And Jesus said, For judgement came I into this world, that they which see not may see; and that they which see may become blind.


to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.


For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, they can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.


who serve that which is a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned of God when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern that was shewed thee in the mount.


I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
