And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; in paths that they know not will I lead them: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things will I do, and I will not forsake them.


O LORD, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thine handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.


For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light


But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may shew forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:


Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Being bound in affliction and iron;


The spirit of the Lord GODis upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;


And there came one and told them, Behold, the men whom ye put in the prison are in the temple standing and teaching the people.


But an angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them out, and said,


And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo, these eighteen years, to have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath?


To hear the sighing of the prisoner; To loose those that are appointed to death;


God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity: But the rebellious dwell in a parched land.


And if they be bound in fetters, And be taken in the cords of affliction;


saying to them that are bound, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and on all bare heights shall be their pasture.


Which executeth judgement for the oppressed; Which giveth food to the hungry: The LORD looseth the prisoners;


To bring back his soul from the pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of the living.


Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own; Let a cloud dwell upon it; Let all that maketh black the day terrify it.


He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, And hath set darkness in my paths.


He shall not depart out of darkness; The flame shall dry up his branches, And by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.


He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, And he is waited for of the sword:
