Wondrous works in the land of Ham, And terrible things by the Red Sea.


He hath shewed his people the power of his works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.


He sheweth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his judgements unto Israel.


Thou leddest thy people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.


And they forgat his doings, And his wondrous works that he had shewed them.


For he established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which he commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children:


He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud: They kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.


And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, to the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.


And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses reported the words of the people unto the LORD.


And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.


Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy ways, that I may know thee, to the end that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.


My servant Moses is not so; he is faithful in all mine house:


And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face;
