Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, Though he hide it under his tongue;


Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hand of strangers, Whose mouth speaketh vanity, And their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.


As for the head of those that compass me about, Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.


They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders' poison is under their lips. Selah


They scoff, and in wickedness utter oppression: They speak loftily.


Who have whet their tongue like a sword, And have aimed their arrows, even bitter words:


For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, Let them even be taken in their pride, And for cursing and lying which they speak.


Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.


The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath left off to be wise and to do good.


Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.


Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.


And they bend their tongue as it were their bow for falsehood; and they are grown strong in the land, but not for truth: for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.


None sueth in righteousness, and none pleadeth in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.


Remove far from me vanity and lies: Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is needful for me:


The getting of treasures by a lying tongue Is a vapour driven to and fro; they that seek them seek death.


Whose mouth speaketh vanity, And their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.


They only consult to thrust him down from his excellency; They delight in lies: They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah


The wicked are estranged from the womb: They go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.


His mouth was smooth as butter, But his heart was war: His words were softer than oil, Yet were they drawn swords.


And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it.


They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.


For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is very wickedness: Their throat is an open sepulchre; They flatter with their tongue.


They conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity, And their belly prepareth deceit.


Thou givest thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit.


Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they be no more: And let them know that God ruleth in Jacob, Unto the ends of the earth. Selah


Hear this, O ye that would swallow up the needy, and cause the poor of the land to fail,
