A false balance is an abomination to the LORD: But a just weight is his delight.


He that uttereth truth sheweth forth righteousness, But a false witness deceit.


Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil: But to the counsellors of peace is joy.


The thoughts of the righteous are just: But the counsels of the wicked are deceit.


The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: But the folly of fools is deceit.


For as he reckoneth within himself, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; But his heart is not with thee.


Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will go about with slanders.


And Saul said to David, Behold, my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD'S battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
