More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.


Yea, if thou cry after discernment, And lift up thy voice for understanding;


Buy the truth, and sell it not; Yea, wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.


Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: Yea, with all thou hast gotten get understanding.


I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.


There is one that is alone, and he hath not a second; yea, he hath neither son nor brother; yet is there no end of all his labour, neither are his eyes satisfied with riches. For whom then, saith he, do I labour, and deprive my soul of good? This also is vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.


The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in the field; which a man found, and hid; and in his joy he goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.


And every one that hath left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit eternal life.


And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.
