There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.


So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: And he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.


But the meek shall inherit the land; And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.


The LORD knoweth the days of the perfect: And their inheritance shall be for ever.


For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the land; And they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
