And the two men, sons of Belial, came in and sat before him: and the men of Belial bare witness against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did curse God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.


How much less one that is abominable and corrupt, A man that drinketh iniquity like water!


What man is like Job, Who drinketh up scorning like water?


He saith in his heart, God hath forgotten: He hideth his face; he will never see it.


His ways are firm at all times; Thy judgements are far above out of his sight: As for all his adversaries, he puffeth at them.


The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: But the mouth of fools feedeth on folly.


A worthless man deviseth mischief: And in his lips there is as a scorching fire.


Cease, my son, to hear instruction Only to err from the words of knowledge.


They feed on the sin of my people, and set their heart on their iniquity.
