And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.


Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth evil continually; He soweth discord.


Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:


A worthless person, a man of iniquity; He walketh with a froward mouth;


My soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.


Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his house: for he is such a son of Belial, that one cannot speak to him.


If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures;


And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew the trumpet, and said, We have no portion in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.


Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the peoples labour for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?


The appetite of the labouring man laboureth for him; For his mouth craveth it of him.


A froward man scattereth abroad strife: And a whisperer separateth chief friends.


He that shutteth his eyes, it is to devise froward things: He that compresseth his lips bringeth evil to pass.


A worthless witness mocketh at judgement: And the mouth of the wicked swalloweth iniquity.
