There is that speaketh rashly like the piercings of a sword: But the tongue of the wise is health.


For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.


It shall be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.


Yea, my reins shall rejoice, When thy lips speak right things.


Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: So doth the sweetness of a man's friend that cometh of hearty counsel.


How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!


More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me a joy and the rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.


Evil devices are an abomination to the LORD: But pleasant words are pure.


My doctrine shall drop as the rain, My speech shall distil as the dew; As the small rain upon the tender grass, And as the showers upon the herb:


A man hath joy in the answer of his mouth: And a word in due season, how good is it!


Thy lips, O my bride, drop as the honeycomb: Honey and milk are under thy tongue; And the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.


A merry heart is a good medicine: But a broken spirit drieth up the bones.


The Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth.


And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and when I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter.
