So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.


When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: But when they perish, the righteous increase.

So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword.


Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.
