Wait on the LORD: Be strong, and let thine heart take courage; Yea, wait thou on the LORD.


And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not vain in the Lord.


Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.


as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that we are your glorying, even as ye also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.


With freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.


Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;

Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.
