Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!


The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.


As the hart panteth after the water brooks, So panteth my soul after thee, O God.


My soul followeth hard after thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.


My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out unto the living God.


For judgement shall return unto righteousness: And all the upright in heart shall follow it.


But the path of the righteous is as the shining light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.


Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye were digged.


And let us know, let us follow on to know the LORD; his going forth is sure as the morning: and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.


Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.


But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel:


nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.


but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away.


For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I have been known.


Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? Even so run, that ye may attain.


For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting.


Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.


For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.


even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:


for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:


Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:


only, whereunto we have already attained, by that same rule let us walk.


for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh:


Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may gain Christ,


See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but alway follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.


But we are bound to give thanks to God alway for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:


well reported of for good works; if she hath brought up children, if she hath used hospitality to strangers, if she hath washed the saints' feet, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work.


laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is life indeed.


Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:


to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,


make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.


For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.


And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, stablish, strengthen you.


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.
