For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:


But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.


The husbandman that laboureth must be the first to partake of the fruits.
