And the report of him went forth into all Syria: and they brought unto him all that were sick, holden with divers diseases and torments, possessed with devils, and epileptic, and palsied; and he healed them.


And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.


Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven devils.


And there followed him a great multitude of the people, and of women who bewailed and lamented him.


And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed with him from Galilee, stood afar off, seeing these things.


And the women, which had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and beheld the tomb, and how his body was laid.


And Jesus asked him, What is thy name? And he said, Legion; for many devils were entered into him.


But there were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.


These all with one accord continued stedfastly in prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
