Out of my distress I called upon the LORD: The LORD answered me and set me in a large place.


One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.


When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.


The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: But they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.


I sought the LORD, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.


And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.


I opened to my beloved; But my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone. My soul had failed me when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.


I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.


And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.


Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will shew thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.


And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.


And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.


Whether of the twain did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.


yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.


Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall have them.


And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.


For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.


And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.


Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.


If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you.


Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.


to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:


(for he saith, At an acceptable time I hearkened unto thee, And in a day of salvation did I succour thee: behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation):


And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.


Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need.


But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.


and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.


and whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.


But to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, which know not the deep things of Satan, as they say; I cast upon you none other burden.
