Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:


And if his oblation be of the flock, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt offering; he shall offer it a male without blemish.


Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man of you offereth an oblation unto the LORD, ye shall offer your oblation of the cattle, even of the herd and of the flock.


If his oblation be a burnt offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish: he shall offer it at the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.


For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,


And if he bring a lamb as his oblation for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.


And while he was sitting on the judgement-seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that righteous man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.


So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man: see ye to it.


saying, I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood. But they said, What is that to us? see thou to it.


Now the centurion, and they that were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.


and said unto them, Ye brought unto me this man, as one that perverteth the people: and behold, I, having examined him before you, found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:


And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.


And when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.


And Pilate went out again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him out to you, that ye may know that I find no crime in him.


Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.


that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.


And if it have any blemish, as if it be lame or blind, any ill blemish whatsoever, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.


how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?


but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ:


Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but quickened in the spirit;
