Vengeance is mine, and recompence, At the time when their foot shall slide: For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things that are to come upon them shall make haste.


But now put ye also away all these; anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth:


For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.


Howbeit if ye fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:


Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,


And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.
