For the LORD will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.


Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favourable no more?


and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.


For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.


For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you a people unto himself.


Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.


Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.


Thus saith the LORD: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.


Thus saith the LORD: Though they be in full strength, and likewise many, even so shall they be cut down, and he shall pass away. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.


For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God take away life, but deviseth means, that he that is banished be not an outcast from him.


And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for over.


In measure, when thou sendest her away, thou dost contend with her; he hath removed her with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
