For, uttering great swelling words of vanity, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by lasciviousness, those who are just escaping from them that live in error;


but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, selfwilled, they tremble not to rail at dignities:

that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance:


But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.


But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said unto them, Doth this cause you to stumble?


They also that err in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmur shall learn doctrine.


They are enclosed in their own fat: With their mouth they speak proudly.


Therefore thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and Aaron, what is he that ye murmur against him?

How much less to him that respecteth not the persons of princes, Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? For they all are the work of his hands.


Let me not, I pray you, respect any man's person; Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.


and ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.


And the men, which Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up an evil report against the land,


But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.


They scoff, and in wickedness utter oppression: They speak loftily.
