The righteous perisheth and no man layeth it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.


But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one.


And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.


And forgive us our sins; for we ourselves also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And bring us not into temptation.


but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not: and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, stablish thy brethren.


who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father:


But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and guard you from the evil one.


henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day: and not only to me, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.


We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth him, and the evil one toucheth him not.


We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one.
